To everybody who writes these: …seriously? It’s called RIT FML because sure enough sometimes life at RIT sucks. Most of the time it’s pretty awesome, and anyone who would judge a school based on an FML site is frankly an idiot. Do you read FMyLife.com and wish you weren’t born?

Ok I have said this a million times in these comments and I will say it again. This school is what you make it. Unfortunately a lot of the people here are quiet or art kids. This makes it hard for science/tech oriented people to get out of their comfort zone and make new friends. Probably the easiest thing to do is to find a club you are even remotely interested in and ask your roommate and neighbors to join you. I started going to the EGS club and I have instantly had more fun than any moment I had previously at RIT. Just remember you are going to RIT to learn but that doesn’t mean that you cant have some fun at the same time. If you are looking for something to do then stop by the EGS weekly meetings and play some video games with us.

There’s 15k students- about 20 of them use this site to complain about their lives. If you’re even modestly outgoing, you’ll be fine. It’s the people that are the problem, not the school.

Well, this site is biased towards showing only the negative aspects of RIT and doesn’t showcase the positive points of the school… it’s called “Fuck My Life” for a reason.
